A few new pictures. Oliver is enjoying the good weather -- if you look cloesely, you'll see that we have given up on socks for the moment.
He is now almost walking. He will already do one or two steps freely if on the other side a soft sofa is waiting for him to plunge into.
Oops. Again a long time since the last update. Lots of new pictures
Oliver is now almost 10 months old. He started crawling last week but only crawls to the next place where he can get up and walk along a wall or chair - he likes it much more to walk around than to crawl. Shouldn't be much longer until he walks unaided. We are starting to frantically secure the house.
We started to mover older things from 2003 into a separate page to keep this page bearably short.
Sorry, Vicky has been scanning in pictures but I haven't put them up... ther is a bigger batch of new pictures now (Gesine: three new ones with you in the December section.).
For Easter we went to the Cotswolds on a short holiday.
| Good Friday was the best day and we did a long walk. (Well, two of us walked and one didn't.) | |
| Sunday was already cooler but the Cotswolds are pretty anyway |
| Intercontinental guests: Sid and Karolina (who still haven't sent us copies of their pictures). | |
| Bread is one of his favourite foods. He eats it and wears it. | |
| Look! I can stand! |
In May we had our 2 week holiday in Germany.
Back in London, Margarita comes for a visit.
| Unpacking the pressies | |
| Visiting the maedieval fayre | |
| Afternoon tea in the garden | |
| Two cheeses for the camera! |
| Hey! That's mine! | |
| Learning to use a spoon... usually not a pretty sight | |
| Oliver's newest method of locomotion. He sometimes even 'walks' sideways like a crab. | |
| Sometimes we wish we would see this more often... | |
| Mama tells Oliver about the flowers and the bees | |
| Parenting for newbies - today's lesson: Things you thought were safe to play with but aren't (e.g. cereal boxes) | |
| Lisa and Greg came to visit. Oliver got a fire station to play with which he loves (also note thi big bags in the background with other goodies -- it never fails to surprise us, how many different kinds of oreos there are). | |
| Oliver, eager to get into his bath. | |
| Day out at Willows farm with Margarita, Anne and the children. | |
| Oliver trying to escape (maybe it's bedtime?). | |
| At Louisa's naming party. There were lots of children and Oliver loved it even if Papa was the one who got to eat the cake. | |
| Hiking with Lesley, Michelle, Paul and Valery. We were doing walk 52 from the TimeOut book of country walks (Princes Risborough to Wendover Walk) but having to carry Oliver Vicky and Holger did only the second half. |
